As far as what the team is about Halifax Lad has pretty much listed everything.
On a personal level I'm one of the newer active members of both the team and forum and have received no end of help and advice on everything from Boinc and it's projects to what leather cleaner to use.

The forum is full of specific areas for projects and team goals but has many areas for general chit chat, hardware/software tips and advice in fact just about anything you want to talk about (as long as it's legal) and a chat room where you can get to know your fellow members better.

I joined this project on 29th December 2006 and have enjoyed every moment of my time processing for this project.
This is only a spin off from enjoying an active membership of the UK's No 1 team.
With our team you get active members on the forum EVERY day who can advise and help with most problems, you also have the opportunity to chat in real time in the teams dedicated chat room.
