The discussion about monster WU´s and 1000cr/WU for this one inspired me to looking on credit per hour for WU. I was a little supprised that longer WU´s got less credits per hour as short WU´s. Below is graph from 177 WU´s crunched on one my comp (host id = 6424)

I haven't even seen an official 64b Boinc being discussed. I run other projects, and so won't run any 64b Boinc which has "altered" benchmarks, but that seems to be the only source available so far. That means I won't be doing any 64b with windows.

I can't find a Linux 64 bit BOINC client to run on my Core 2 Duo. Seen one somewhere which appeared to be for AMD64 but that's all. Perhaps it would work on a Core 2 Duo, but it's not obvious as that is not an AMD processor...

I saw a link to another one on a message board (may have been ABC Beta) but it was a dead link :(

Link from Augustine in beta forum works correct. You can find it also there http://abcathome.com/forum_thread.php?id=47&nowrap=true#2054

... If you have ideas how to optimize something, you
can mod the client and test it in beta,
http://abcathome.com/beta without spreading
it amongst others so it can be validated properly there.

Yes, thats the best approach, but in beta part of project aren´t any WUs?!?

A good question, I will try it asap. I didn't want to put the linux one in here
already without the windows in order to not discriminate the windows people.
The windows compilation still has not been completed, and after that it needs
some testing.

Thanks Hendrik for your answer

where can I get the 64Bit core client for abc@home beta? can you give me a direct link?

You must have 64bit boinc client and then will be 64b core client for abc@home beta downloaded automatically (you must be attached to beta project ofcourse).

You can download 64b boinc client from there:
