Phaeochromocytoma is a rare surgically treatable cause of hypertension. A 24-hour urinary Vanillyl Mandelic Acid estimation was high at 68 mmol. Intra- and postoperatively he had episodes of hypertension which were successfully controlled with a combination of intravenous chlorpromazine yasmin 50 mg, Tramadol ( Generic Ultram ) 100 mg and lorazepam 4 mg. A monoblock resection for malignant phaeochromocytoma.BACKGROUND. A 40 year-old man presented with episodic malignant hypertension resistant to several anti-hypertensive drugs. The glucuronides were found to be highly enriched in the 1S,2S-diastereomers. Separation of these seasonale glucuronides into their diastereomers was achieved by HPLC using ion pair chromatography with nonanesulfonic acidic sodium salt and LiChrospher 100 RP 18 as stationary phase. The urine samples were purified by a two-step solid-phase extraction. Direct determination of Tramadol ( Generic Ultram ) glucuronides in human urine by high-performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection.A sensitive and selective reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography method has been developed for the direct determination of three glucuronides of the retin-a centrally acting analgesic Tramadol ( Generic Ultram ) (1). Under general anaesthesia with propofol, the tumour was explored. It was resected in block with the kidney. | |
