| Your opinions about ABC@home |
We run ABC because I like Mathematics and Lotus Lee Bomar has friends at the University of Maryland who have PHD'S in Mathematics.
I believe that it really is the language of the Universe so I admire Mathematicians like Gauss , Archimedes, Newton and more recently Kurt Godel and his Incompleteness Theorem which may have been the biggest thing done in Mathematics in the 20th century . The underlying Symmetry in the Universe and the Mathematics used to model the Universe from Cosmology to quantum particles , like string theory for example are interesting to me . The proof of Fermat's Theorem by Andrew Wile and the proof of the Poincaire Conjecture by Grigori Perleman are also of interest. Also the research in Cosmology pertaining to multiple universes by Dr. Bojowald at Penn State is fascinating.
Unfortunately , I am only a layman and so I don't understand any of the proofs , although I have looked at them. |
