What to Book Online Ahead of Your Orlando Trip

June 25, 2019 by Lauren Palmer

If you and your family have booked a trip to Orlando then congratulations, you are in for a truly memory family vacation which will be filled with fun, adventure and discovery. Once you have your flights and accommodation sorted it is time to get online to arrange the rest of your trip. The key to a successful vacation to Orlando is in the planning and here is what you should be looking to arrange before you leave home.

ESTA

Firstly a quick point on your visa, you must have an ESTA approved before you leave home otherwise you won’t get into the country. Every person traveling requires an ESTA regardless of their age, the process can be completed online and each application costs $14, do it sooner rather than later so that you have time to iron out any difficulties if they present themselves.

Car Hire

There are many car hire spots in Orlando but they can get booked out very quickly and whilst you will always be able to get yourself some kind of vehicle, it may not be the size, make or model which you want, and it certainly won’t be at the price you want. Getting in early and booking up online will ensure that you get the vehicle of your choice at the best prices, it also gives you the peace of mind that you’ll have a car waiting when you arrive.

Park Tickets

Theme parks are the most exciting aspect of a holiday to Orlando and to ensure that you get the very best prices you need to start looking at buying them online before you go. Let’s say that you want tickets to Universal Orlando, you can pick these up on a number of 3rd party websites at great discounts versus paying on the door. Not only can you save yourself some money when you buy tickets like this but you can also ensure availability and skip the queues at the entrance. Almost all theme parks have discounted tickets online so be smart and save yourself some money. When buying from a re-seller check on the parks’ official website to make sure that the re-seller is approved, there are some site out there which sell fake tickets so you need to be sure to avoid them.

Transport

If you decide not to hire a car and use public or private transportation then you can also save money on this if you book up online before you go. This is even more true when it comes to private transportation services because they want to know how many people to expect on certain dates. To ensure that they get this they will encourage visitors to get booked up early and enjoy a small discount. As soon as you know your itinerary look in to your transport options and get booked up.

Booking early is not only about saving money but also about reducing your stress levels, the more you arrange in advance, the more relaxed you’ll be during your vacation.
